Who’s the workshop for: All Ages
Slacklining provides an addictive challenge with rewards that deliver a heightened sense of personal achievement. Private coaching in the early stages of slacklining sets up an accelerated learning pathway to quickly master the art of balance. As a rough guide; a good instructor can teach you in 3 sessions, what would take you up to 6 months to learn on your own. With 3 years of advanced teaching experience, Slackline Australia Instructor Rob Brooks can also help you to achieve your slacklining goals, by dissolving your mental and physical blocks.
What’s covered in the workshop: In your private session you will learn slacklining fundamentals that are tailored specifically to your personal goals. This can include; knowledge of slackline equipment, different setup techniques (with or without trees), mounting & dismounting techniques, balance holds with correct posture, walking (forwards, backwards), static tricks (warrior, sitting, laying, kneeling…), correction of currently existing habits which are progress limiting, breathing techniques and mindfulness training.

“Rob Brooks is the centre of gravity for slacklining in South Australia and has grown a thriving community who have developed individually to advanced mastery. This growth has not left the new beginners behind, but rather he has become a trainer of trainers and implemented a professional framework across all sectors from beach lines to high lining with safety always paramount in teaching, equipment and technique. Without this foundation the growth witnessed would not have occurred without Dr Rob.” – Tim Muehlberg, Founder RAVSTASS.
